Taliban - A creation

Al-Qaeda and the Taliban are a “creation” of the US and Britain used as a “weapon of choice” against enemies, British MP George Galloway says.

“Al-Qaeda and their forefathers and the Taliban are all inventions of the US and Britain… Al-Qaeda were only ever in Afghanistan because we helped to send them there. We armed them, financed them, called them heroes and freedom fighters [against the Soviet Union in the 1980’s],” the MP for Bradford West said in his latest Good Night with George Galloway show on YouTube.

“Not only did we create these people in the first place but we have reached for them as a weapon of choice to deploy against our enemies,” he added.

Galloway also accused the British government of training al-Qaeda terrorist in Fort William, Scotland.

The British Home Office has declined to comment on Galloway’s remarks.

Last week, the Bradford West lawmaker also said that Britain and the US have armed most of the people who killed the US ambassador in Libya on September 11.

Galloway told RT that the US and Britain have been acting on the principle that my enemy’s enemy is my friend, therefore arming terrorists who then point their guns at their very mentors in London and Washington in a monster turned on monster scenario.

“[There are] international terrorists inside Afghanistan because Britain and America sent them there in the 1980’s to fight the [Soviet Union’s] Red Army on the principle that my enemy’s enemy is my friend,” he said.

“But of course they are not in Afghanistan any more. They’re in Syria where Britain and America have sent them next. The very people who murdered the American ambassador in Benghazi were the people that we sent into Libya and bombed Libya so that they could come to power there.”

Meanwhile, Galloway said on his YouTube posting that the 9/11 attacks in the US were “clearly a conspiracy” and the terrorists were trained in the US, “learned how to fly planes” and then “flew themselves into the twin towers.”
